Learn business-crime prevention tips

Kent business owners can learn tips about protecting their property at a Kent Police Community Crime Prevention meeting at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Golden Steer restaurant, 23826 104th Ave. S.E.

Police officials will focus on East Hill crime trends near 104th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 240th Street as well as safety tips and how to prevent crime.

Despite the focus on East Hill crime, business owners from throughout the city are invited to the meeting to learn how to keep their property safe.

To sign up for the meeting, contact Sara Wood, Kent Police public education specialist, at 253-856-5851 or swood@ci.kent.wa.us.
