Kent will celebrate the grand opening of the Grocery Outlet, Saturday, July 16, from 8am-6pm with free gifts, activities and door prizes.

Owners Jessica and Greg Powell with Mayor Suzette Cooke cut the ribbon on their new store Wednesday, July 13, during a preview day. The store is at 23910 104th Ave. S.E.

Special guest from the the local businesses, and the Kent Chamber of Commerce were on hand to preview the store before the grand opening Saturday, July 16.
