Keiser, Fain to speak at Kent Chamber luncheon May 2

State Sens. Karen Keiser, D-Kent and Joe Fain, R-Auburn, will speak about the 2012 legislative session at the Wednesday, May 2 Kent Chamber of Commerce Monthly Membership Luncheon at the ShoWare Center.

The luncheon runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $30 for guests and $20 for chamber members.

Keiser, who represents the 33rd District, has been a senator since 2001 and chairs the Senate Health & Long-Term Care Committee. She served in the state House from 1996-2001.

Fain is serving his first term in the 47th District. He was chosen as deputy Republican leader on the Senate Transportation Committee. He previously worked as a staff member with the King County Council.
