DaVita way of giving: Dialysis centers support community

January 24, 2013 · Updated 10:45 AM

DaVita, the kidney care division of DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc. and a leading provider of kidney care services, recently announced a $1,000 contribution to World Impact Network.

DaVita Bellevue, Kent and Westwood dialysis presented World Impact Network with a $1,000 check as part of the DaVita Way of Giving, the company's local charitable giving initiative, which is distributing more than $1 million to help nonprofit organizations throughout the United States grow and thrive.

World Impact Network, a nonprofit organization, is an international Christian humanitarian organization that is working strategically to bring about positive change in the lives of leaders both locally and in emerging nations.

The DaVita centers partnered together and chose to donate to World Impact Network because they understand that there are humanitarian needs both in the local communities and in foreign lands. The centers admired all that the organization does to support both ends of the spectrum.

Gabriella van Breda of World Impact Network said the DaVita contribution will go a long way to support its mission.

DaVita, a leading provider of kidney care services committed to improving the quality of life for those diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, is dedicated to spreading ripples of citizen leadership through its Trilogy of Care – caring for its patients, caring for each other and caring for the world.
