Kent Historical Society offers yard sale May 6-7

The annual Greater Kent Historical Society yard sale is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 6-7 at the Kent Historical Society Museum, 855 E. Smith St.

Items for sale at the fundraiser for the museum will include household items, books, gardening tools, potted plants and homemade baked goods.

Parking is available behind the house off East Temperance Street.

The Greater Kent Historical Society is a nonprofit organization that promotes the discovery, preservation and dissemination of knowledge about the history of the greater Kent area.
