Oktoberfest in Kent Oct. 8 to benefit Children's Therapy Center

Enjoy beer, food and music at an Oktoberfest party from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at Pat's Bar and Grill, 114 Railroad Ave., in downtown Kent.

The women's guild of the Children's Therapy Center in Kent is sponsoring the celebration.

Proceeds will go to the center, a nonprofit group that provides essential services to handicapped and developmentally disabled children.

Admission is $20, which includes two beers and a bratwurst.
