Kent family festival at ShoWare Center

Children of all ages can expect lots of fun at the upcoming “You Me We" festival from 6-9:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 at the Kent ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St.
The second-annual family event is a celebration of local talent and the many youth and teen resources available in Kent.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with Kent youth and teen performers starting at 6:30 p.m.
Other activities include:
• Interactive booths
• Hands-on art activities
• Sports competitions
• Face painting
• Bounce houses
• Games, contests, raffles, and prizes including a Redline bicycle
• $1 hot dogs and $1 soda
The event is organized by the Kent School District, Kent Parks Department, youth groups, sports and scouting organizations, churches, local businesses, and service clubs.
