Greater Kent Historical Society to host dinner auction fundraiser

The Greater Kent Historical Society presents Celebrating the History of Kent Past, Present and Future, its annual dinner auction fundraiser Oct. 6.
The program begins at 5:30 p.m. at Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.
Mark Albertson, a Kent attorney and active community leader, is the master of ceremonies.
The evening includes dinner catered by The Golden Steer Steak 'N Rib House, silent and live auctions, bidding in the Dessert Dash and a wine bar.
The live auction welcomes bids on local and regional dining, entertainment, travel and service items. Fergus Prestbye serves as auctioneer.
Water, soda, coffee and tea will be complementary. Enjoy a complimentary drink at the wine bar. Additional drinks will be available throughout the evening for $4.
Registration is open.
Tickets are $50 per person or reserve a table of eight for $400
