Junior Junction students have a yearly tradition of joining the Kent Fire Department in collecting new, unwrapped toys for their Toys For Joy program. The children enjoy collecting the toys as

well as helping to fill the van every year to make sure that no child in Kent wakes up on Christmas morning without a toy under their tree. Teachers also were busy with a wrapping event at Station 75 on Wednesday evening.

The Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority, Kent Firefighters Local 1747, and the Kent Firefighters Foundation once again sponsor and support the Toys for Joy program. For further information, call the hotline at 253-856-4485.
