Kent woman earns 'Paraeducator to Certification' $1,000 scholarship

Kent School District paraeducator Lisa Parks is the latest recipient of the Kent Association of Paraeducators' "Paraeducator to Certification" $1,000 scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded to paraeducators engaged in the student teaching assignment required for their teacher certification program.

KAP has awarded six scholarships in the past three years.
