Kent Sunrise Rotary recently honored students and staff at Cedar Heights Middle School.

Each student was presented with a $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble to help them with their future studies. The support staff member and extraordinary teacher were awarded $75 gift certificates.

In keeping with its "service above self" motto, the Rotary Club of Kent-Sunrise sets a monthly meeting during the school year to honor students of a Kent middle school. Cedar Heights was honored in January.
