Students, host families needed for Kent Sister Cities Youth Ambassador program

Kent high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors have an opportunity to represent their school and the city abroad by becoming a Kent Sister Cities Youth Ambassador to Sunnfjord, Norway this summer.

The two-week trip explores the Land of the Midnight Sun with a host family and two weeks hosting a Norwegian student with their family while seeing the community with a new perspective.

To find out more, including what to expect if you are selected, including cost and expectations, please attend an information session at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Starbucks, 132nd and Kent-Kangley.

Applications are due March 1.
