The Las Vegas Sin held off a late rally by the Seattle Mist for a 28-24 win in a women's Lingerie Football League game in front of a large crowd Friday at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

Las Vegas (2-0) led 28-8 at halftime before Seattle (1-1) rallied in the second half.

Reserve quarterback Laurel Creel led the Mist comeback. She completed 7 of 17 passes for 94 yards with two touchdowns. Creel replaced starting quarterback Angela Rypien, who struggled to get the Mist moving.

Seattle receiver Jessica Hopkins had four receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown.

Quarterback Nikki Johnson threw two touchdown passes for Las Vegas.

The Mist return to play Dec. 16 at the Los Angeles Temptation.
