Kent's Allegro Performing Arts Academy dancers to perform Jan. 15

Dancers from the Kent-based Allegro Performing Arts Academy will perform at their "Burnin' the Floor" show Sunday, Jan. 15 at the Auburn Performing Arts Center, 700 E. Main St.

The performers will include members of the award-winning Allegro Precision Dance Company and the P.U.R.E. (Purely Unique Raw Energy) Hip Hop group.

Showtimes are noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The event is a fundraiser for Allegro to help pay for local competitions as well as travel to a national competition this summer.

Allegro Performing Arts Academy is at 1209 Central Ave. S. The hours are 4-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3:30-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
