The Kent-based Seattle Mist failed to make the women's Lingerie Football League playoffs.

Seattle finished with a 2-2 record and in third place in the six-team Western Conference. The Mist needed the Chicago Bliss to beat the Los Angeles Temptation on Friday, but the Temptation won 42-26 to clinch second place in the Western Conference with a 3-1 record.

The Las Vegas Sin (4-0) plays Los Angeles in the Western Conference finals. The Philadelphia Passion (4-0) play the Tampa Breeze (3-1) in the Eastern Conference finals. Both games are Sunday, Jan. 29.

The conference winners play in Lingerie Bowl IX Feb. 5 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
