Kent School District film festival is May 21

VisFest, the Kent School District's annual visual literacy film festival, is scheduled to hit the screen May 21 at Kent-Meridan High School.

The theme of this year's event is "A day in the life of..."

Student judges will be looking for films that have a strong, meaningful message related to the theme and are original, creative and entertaining, as well as easy to follow and include no extemporaneous scenes.

The event starts 5:30 p.m.
