Dancing vegetables come to Kent

Parents can bring their children to be entertained by dancing vegetables, robots and music at the city of Kent’s annual Wednesday Picnic Performances that start at noon July 8 at Town Square Park, Second Avenue and Harrison Street in downtown Kent.

Tickle Tune Typhoon kicks off the free weekly performances that continue each Wednesday at the park through Aug. 2. The performances last for about an hour. Tickle Tune Typhoon delivers positive messages and education topics through fun entertainment.
