Friday is your final chance to catch a free outdoor movie at the Town Square Plaza, at Second Avenue and Harrison Street, in downtown Kent.

“Kung Fu Panda,” will be shown at 8:45 p.m. Friday. The animated film, set in ancient China, features a bumbling panda who aspires to be a kung fu master. Actor Jack Black is the voice of the panda.

Moviegoers must bring their own chairs to set up at the plaza. No seats will be provided. There is a small grass area where people can spread blankets.

The inflatable screen measures 20 feet wide and 40 feet high. The screen will be placed in the northwest corner of the park, in front of the carousel, and face toward the fountains.

This marks the third and final movie presented by the city of Kent parks department as part of its Summer Nights and the Silver Screen series.
