Declaration is welcome

Thank you Mayor Suzette Cooke and Kent City Council. You reaffirm the long legacy of welcome that has been a hallmark of our city.

Your declaration offers assurance to some of our newest citizens who live with fear because of the changing federal enforcement policies. You provide an opportunity for all of us who call Kent home to extend a welcoming hand and an open heart to all. Thank you again.
