Arabian Horse Youth Association honors Kentridge senior as Youth of the Year

The Arabian Horse Youth Association (AHA) recently honored Morgan “Danika” Overstreet, a Kentridge High School senior, as its 2017Youth of the Year.

Overstreet, an accomplished rider and equestrian performer, was praised for her charitable efforts in the community, which included raising money for youth activities, organizing food collections for Northwest Harvest and volunteering at a memory care facility.

AHA recognized the Overstreet’s work and service in the Arabian and local community with a $1,000 scholarship and perpetual trophy.

Overstreet plans to attend the University of Washington, where she may study international business.
