DAR chapter honors cadet

The Lakota Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently presented the National Defense Marine ROTC Bronze Medal to Cadet Makayla Abeyta at Kentwood High School.

The medal is for loyalty and patriotism and for those cadets who have earned a record of military and scholastic achievement during participation in the JROTC program.
