Judas Priest to perform April 15 at Kent’s ShoWare Center

Heavy metal band Judas Priest along with Saxon and Black Star Riders will perform at 7 p.m. on April 15 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at accessoshowarecenter.com. Prices are $44.25 to $94.25.

The Judas Priest Firepower 2018 Tour kicks off March 13 in Pennsylvania and wraps up May 1 in Texas. The tour supports the release of the new “Firepower” album due out early next year.

The tour will feature singer Rob Halford, guitarists Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner, bassist Ian Hill and drummer Scott Travis. The band formed in 1969 in England. Hill is one of the original band members.

Top albums for the band include “British Steel” and “Screaming for Vengeance” in the 1980s and “Painkiller” in the 1990s.
