Kentwood High School is site of Kent Fire Department's Gift of Life mock crash
May 26, 2010 · 10:25 AM
Kentwood High School was the site May 20 of Kent Fire Department's Gift of Life presentation, aimed at showing teens the consequences of drinking and driving. The department conducts the presentation each spring, on the eve of students' proms and graduations, as a sobering reminder of the responsibilities they have, when it comes to driving and good decision-making. The mock crash included crunched-up cars and realistic-looking injuries, complete with fake blood.
