11th annual Kent 'Cornucopia Cup' Soccer Tournament (Thursday through Sunday):

Headquartered at Pea Patch Playfields (at Green River Road & South 256th), the games take place at Pea Patch, Wilson Playfield, Kent-Meridian High School, Meridian Middle School, Millennium Elementary, Auburn Mountainview High School.

Thursday

10 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Kent Lions Street Fair, downtown Kent; Fine Crafts Market, Kent Station.

2 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Funtastic Shows Carnival, West Smith & Lincoln Avenue

10 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Kent Youth Soccer Association Cornucopia Cup, Pea Patch soccer fields,

Noon to 7 p.m. - Cornucopia Beer Garden, Burlington Green Park

2 p.m. - Miss Cornucopia Pageant, Plaza Stage at Second & Smith

3 p.m. - All Mixed Up; The Music of the Cars, Gazebo Stage

4 p.m. - Leading Edge Kickboxing Demo

5 p.m. - Saqra's Studio of Belly Dance, Gazebo Stage

7 p.m. - Square dancing 'til dark, Plaza Stage

Saturday

8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m - 10th annual Dragon Boat Races, Lake Meridian Park

8 a.m. - Cornucopia Bike Ride 21216 72nd Ave.

First-ever Kent Cornucopia Days Bike Ride. A 25- or 60-mile ride. Event starts at the Union Bay Company headquarters, 21216 72nd Ave. Kent, registration goes from 7-10 a.m., ride starts 8 a.m. Benefiting the “Our Daily Bread Basket” to feed families healthy organic foods.

9 a.m. - Cornucopia Days 5K Run and Walk

(Race starts at Three Friends Fishing Hole, 20025 Russell Road. Day of race registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. The race features a fast down and back along the Green River Trail. Participants age 60 and over run for free courtesy of the Tab Wizard.

Highlights include awards for the top five in each age group and random prizes. Registration is $10 or $20 with a short-sleeve technical T-shirt. Day of race registration is $15 and $25 with shirt.
