Kent Police seek help to find alleged burglar

Kent Police are looking for the public's help to identify a man who reportedly broke into a downtown Kent business.

Police released a photo Oct. 20 of a man caught on video surveillance inside a contractor supply shop at about 12:08 a.m. Aug. 28. The video reportedly shows a man breaking into the shop and causing several thousand dollars of property damage, according to a Kent Police media release.

The man spent about 20 minutes inside looking around the business before leaving.

Police described the man as having a stocky build and tattoos on the back of both calves.

Anyone with information about the man can call the Kent Police tip line at 253-856-5808.
