A 40-year-old Kent man died Sunday after he was injured as a passenger in a single-car crash eastbound on Interstate 90, about 16 miles west of Ellensburg.

Tony O. Bey died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to a Washington State Patrol media release.

The accident occurred at about 4:10 p.m. Sunday when the driver of a 2000 Subaru Legacy station wagon lost control and rolled the car that was totaled.

Elric A. Bey, 19, the driver, and Linda Edwards-Bey, 38, another passenger, both of Kent, were not injured. They each wore seat belts. Tony Bey was not wearing a seat belt, according to the State Patrol accident report.

The cause of the accident remained under investigation Monday.
