Train and bus service disrupted in Tukwila due to suspicious package Friday night

Train service was disrupted for about two hours Friday night due to a suspicious package.

The package was investigated police officers.

According to an email form Sound Transit spokesman Bruce Gary, the trains were running but not stopping at the Tukwila Station bus and light rail station. Both buses and trains were redirected.

The package was removed and service returned about  1 p.m.
