A 20-year-old Kent man died from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash at about 1:04 a.m. Saturday, March 24 along southbound Interstate 405 in Tukwila, just north of I-5.

Nathan E. Crawford, the driver of a 1996 Honda Civic, died after being transported by paramedics to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to a March 26 Washington State Patrol media release.

A 23-year-old Auburn man, who was a passenger in Crawford's car, was transported to Harborview with injuries. A 33-year-old Hobart man, the driver of a 2008 Ford Edge SUV, was not injured. A passenger in his car, a 21-year-old Seattle man, was taken to Harborview with injuries. Both drivers and the two passengers each wore seat belts.

The two vehicles were traveling southbound on I-405 approaching I-5 in lane two. Crawford's vehicle attempted to pass the other vehicle and the two collided.
