Kent Police arrested a 38-year-old Renton man for investigation of driving under the influence after he reportedly drove his car off the road and into the yard of an East Hill home.

The accident occurred at about 3 p.m. Friday in the 25000 block of 132nd Avenue Southeast, according to an email from Sgt. Jarod Kasner.

The vehicle went into the yard of a home but did not strike the house and there were no injuries. The driver was alone in the car and showed signs of impairment that resulted in a DUI arrest, Kasner said.
