College Goal Sunday touches down in Kent

The free program hosts events where volunteers help students fill out the FAFSA, the federal financial aid form most colleges use to determine financial aid for higher education.

This year, the program will be held through January and February at sixty different locations spread across Washington State--four of those locations in Kent.

Tuesday, January 8 from 2:30-6:30 p.m. at Kentridge High School12430 Southeast 208th Street, Kent, WA 98031

Thursday, January 10, from 3-7 p.m. at Kentwood High School25800 164th Avenue SE, Covington, WA 98042

Tuesday, January 15 from 4-8 p.m. at Kent-Meridian High School10020 Southeast 256th Street, Kent, WA 98030

Thursday, January 31 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Birch Creek Community Center13111 SE 274th St, Kent, WA 98030

Community members serve as volunteers for the events, and the program urges educators to connect students with higher education opportunities.
