Boeing engineers and technical workers marched on main streets near The Landing Wednesday morning in advance of resumption of contract negotiations with The Boeing Co.

The dozens of workers marched from the Boeing plant near The Landing and were walking along Park Avenue and then back on Logan Avenue.

Negotiations between Boeing and the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA), IFPTE Local 2001, resume at 1 p.m. Wednesday at a hotel in SeaTac.

Last week, Boeing presented SPEEA with a contract offer shortly after the long talks resumed after a recess was imposed by a federal mediator for a cooling-off period over the holidays.

As the talks continue, SPEEA is also preparing for a possible strike.
