The woman is suspected of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or drugs, according to an email from Sgt. Jarod Kasner. Officers used a K-9 unit as well as numerous police vehicles to search the area but did not find the woman.

"There were no other known involved parties or known injuries," Kasner said.

Police do not have any description of the woman. The case remains under investigation. The accident occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.
