Sen. Joe Fain (R-Auburn) invites South King County residents to join him for a telephone town-hall meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, to discuss state issues, including education, transportation, state spending and the session under way.

The forum allows participants to listen and ask questions from anywhere with a telephone, enabling more people to engage with Fain without attending a meeting in person.

Many residents will receive a call inviting them to the forum when it begins and may simply stay on the line to join. They also have the option to call in toll-free by dialing 1-877-229-8493 and entering the code 110995.

The 47th Legislative District includes Auburn, Kent, Covington, Renton and unincorporated King County.

Questions may be submitted in advance via email or phone at joe.fain@leg.wa.gov or toll-free at 888-786-0598.
