An overturned septic truck has caused a 4-mile backup Wednesday in Kent along southbound Highway 167 near Willis Street, according to the state Department of Transportation.

As of about 4:30 p.m.., the collision had two right lanes blocked with only the HOV lane open. The State Patrol has arrived at the scene. DOT officials advise avoiding the highway between Renton and Auburn because of the long backup.
