SR 169 Green River Bridge closes tonight for six months

After reviewing extensive data from the slide zone near the SR 169 Kummer Bridge near Black Diamond, WSDOT geotechnical engineers have determined the bridge is too unstable for traffic. WSDOT maintenance crews will close the bridge tonight at 7 p.m. The bridge will remain closed up to six months.
