The Washington State Department of Transportation will restrict flammable cargo in both directions of I-5 under the Washington State Convention and Trade Center from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13.

The fire-suppression system will be off-line while tunnel crews perform maintenance work.

During the restriction, drivers transporting flammable materials on I-5 should use alternate routes such as I-405, I-90 or State Route 520.
