Candidate filing week begins Monday
Candidates planning to run for office in the Aug. 7 primary election or the Nov. 6 general election must file Monday through Friday, May 14-18.
"If you are considering running for office, our website offers a candidate manual that provides comprehensive information about the process," said Elections Director Sherril Huff. "Most candidates file online because it's easy and efficient."
