Public reception set for Jan. 2 for Kent’s new mayor, City Council members

A public reception and swearing-in ceremony is set for Tuesday, Jan. 2, for Kent Mayor-elect Dana Ralph, new City Council members Toni Troutner and Satwinder Kaur and re-elected Councilwoman Brenda Fincher.

The 6 p.m. reception is at the City Hall lobby, 220 Fourth Ave. S., followed by the swearing in during the council meeting at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers.
