6/12/1933 – 8/13/2015

Patricia Ann Dixon-Crawford was born June 12, 1933 in Aberdeen, Washington to Clifford Earl Dixon and Pauline Eva Hollingsworth-Dixon and died August 13, 2015 of natural causes in Auburn, Washington while attended by her loving family.

“Pat” was a loving wife to her husband Glenn (Deceased), and mother to Glenn R., Del, and Diana Crawford.

She moved to Kent with her family in 1938, and has been involved in the community ever since. Always active, Pat was the guide who made the family full and rich with camping, fishing, and cultural activities, all while giving her children the freedom to grow in their own way. Among Pat’s many activities and accomplishments:

Worked at Smith Brothers Dairy, Kent Bakery and Libby’s to help support her family. She was a lettered member of the tennis team at Kent-Meridian High School and involved in Drama club, Homemakers club, Honor club, and Photo club. Married Glenn Richard Crawford September 25, 1950. Gave birth to three children.? Was a founding member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Kent where she worshiped for 55 years including many years as a Sunday school teacher. Taught several classes at Highline Community College.

She volunteered for over 20 years as a Master Gardener after earning her certification from WSU. She was an active member of the Chinook District Garden Club for over 55 years, and even served as the President of Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs from 1977-1979. She loved to travel the world, and used her talents in flower arranging, color analysis, and design to instruct on cruise ships, which enabled her to travel places like South America and Europe.

She is survived by three children, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

No person, or thing could stop her. She is loved and missed.
