I was extremely fortunate to be invited by my daughter Teresa Espinosa to attend the community Veterans Day observance at Kentridge High School on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 9.

It was a most fulfilling and rewarding experience. The school principal, Mr.Mike Albrecht, his staff and talented students did a most admirable job presenting the meaning and importance of Veterans Day. I can’t say enough good things about the Jazz choir, the Kentridge Women’s Choir, the Kentridge band and all the rest of the students who contributed to this memorable event. I know that I speak for all the other veterans who were in attendance also.

It’s obvious that our country’s future is in good hands with our young people. Thanks again.
