Police also need to focus on red-light runners

Hello: I appreciate the efforts of the Kent Police to crackdown on folks not wearing their seat belt; this is good.

It would be nice, when the seat-belt focus is done, if they could then focus on red-light runners. They could pick an intersection and spend several hours ticketing red-light runners, then move to another intersection, etc.

This is a city-wide problem and only seems to be getting worse because people know they can get away with it. Not only is this a safety issue, it is quite rude to go through an intersection when it is not your turn.

Karen Bouton,

Kent
