Thank you, Reporter columnist, for gay-marriage column

Todd (Nuttman), I just wanted to thank you for your column in Saturday’s (Dec. 6) Kent Reporter (“Gay marriage not hurting anyone”).

Awhile ago it was stated to me that if same-sex marriages were allowed, it would do irreparable damage to wedding vows.

My reply was that my marriage vows taken 41 years ago are not in any danger because two of the same sex decide to get married.
