Install those traffic cameras already!

We think it is time to reevaluate the policy for installing traffic cameras in Kent. People know there is no penalty for running red lights in Kent.

We haven't gone out looking for violators; it happens every day at any major intersection, no matter which direction you are driving. It is time to install the cameras, or just continue on until somebody gets killed.

Seattle, Renton, Tukwila, Auburn, and I believe Tacoma and Everett have these installed. So what are we waiting for - it is no longer something new.

I hope our police chief has already made up his mind to install them, and we are wasting our time writing this letter.
