Seattle Thunderbird defenceman Kyle Verdino is Kent Repoters Thunderbird of the week. Verdino is 20 years-old from Phoenix, AZ. He started his career with the Kelowna Rockets then moved to the Swift Current Broncos. The T-Birds picked him up from the Broncos and for this season has played 11 games has 2 goals, 6 assist and 35 penalty minutes. 2010-11: Kyle played in 67 games with the Swift Current Broncos and had four goals and 16 assists for 20 points and 156 penalty minutes. He had four two-game point streaks during the season. Kyle was acquired from the Broncos for a conditional fifth round selection in the 2013 Bantam Draft. 2009-10: Kyle scored 5 points (5 assists) in 26 with Kelowna. Swift Current acquired Verdino mid-season, and he went on to score 7 points for the Broncos in 28 games. Combined, he finished the season with 12 points (1G, 11A) and 80 PIM. 2008-09: In his first full WHL season, Kyle played in 64 games. He registered 10 assists and 54 PIM. 2007-08: Verdino played in 32 games for Kelowna, scoring 2 points on 2 assists.
