Jacobs has spent his who career with the Thunderbirds, and currently has appeared in 7 games scoring 2 goals 1 assist. Last year Jacobs was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the fourth round, 107th overall, in the 2011 Entry Draft. Jacobs tied for third with Travis Toomey for goals scored this season. He had 22 goals and 22 assists for 44 points. Jacobs had a hat trick against the Prince George Cougars on December 1 at CN Centre. He also had an assist in this game to give him four points in a game, which tied him with five other T-Birds for the most points in a game this season.
