Boys and girls hoops playoffs set with the Kentwood boys and girls teams playing at ShoWare Friday | Live Blog

On Friday, the Kentwood boys and girls as well as the Kent-Meridian boys will show their stuff at ShoWare Center in the South Puget Sound League playoff.

The Conqueror boys will play the No. 1 team out of the SPSL South for the league title while the Conks' girls squad will play for the third and fourth seeds to district.

The Kent-Meridian boys will play for the third/fourth seed into the West Central District tournament at ShoWare.

Here is the schedule for games at ShoWare on Friday:

3:30 p.m. Kentwood Girls vs. Emerald Ridge Girls

5:00 p.m. Kent-Meridian Boys vs. Federal Way Boys

6:30 p.m. Kentwood Boys vs. Curtis Boys

8:00 p.m. Mount Rainier Girls vs. Federal Way Girls

In addition, the Kentlake and Kentridge boys made it into the playoffs, as did the Chargers girls.

Kentridge boys beat Spanaway Lake Thursday at Todd Beamer High while the Kentlake boys play Rogers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at Auburn High.

With the win last night, the Chargers are the No. 9 seed.

If Kentlake beats Rogers, the Falcons will take the No. 7 seed to the district tournament.

The Kentridge girls play Spanaway Lake at 11 a.m. Saturday at Auburn. The winner is the No. 7 seed while the loser will be the No. 8 seed to the district tournament.
