Hockey fans can watch the Seattle Thunderbirds game Friday, Feb. 17 from Kent's ShoWare Center on ROOT Sports television.

Root will televise the Western Hockey League game against the Tri-City Americans live at 7 p.m.

T-Birds officials recommend that fans set their DVR or TiVo to record the game and still come to ShoWare to see the game in person.

The T-Birds are fighting for one of the eight playoff spots out of the Western Conference. Eight of the 10 teams advance to the playoffs. The T-Birds are in seventh place.

Seattle will also be on the Friday night broadcasts when it plays March 2 at Everett and March 16 at Spokane.
