Seattle Thunderbirds game on television Jan. 18

Catch the Seattle Thunderbirds junior hockey team on ROOT Sports when they play at 7:35 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 at the Everett Silvertips.

The T-Birds hope to snap a 14-game losing streak in the game at Everett. They have dropped into eighth place in the Western Conference. Eight of the 10 teams advance to the playoffs. Seattle has failed to make the playoffs three straight years.

ROOT will show six Western Hockey League games as part of its Friday Night Ice broadcast schedule.

Seattle’s game March 15 at the Portland Winterhawks also will be broadcast on ROOT.
