Demitrius Bronson signed to Seahawks practice squad
Former Kentwood High School football player Demetrius Bronson was signed to the Seattle Seahawks practice squad.
The practice squad consists of players that have been cut and cleared waivers. Each team can have up to 10 practice squad players. The players are allowed to practice with the team but not play in games. They are paid per week and can be released at any point during the season. They are also free to sign with other NFL teams. Practice squad players earn a minimum of $6,300 per week.
Bronson was originally released by the Seahawks on Aug. 25 but resigned days later after backup running back Christine Michael was injured in practice.
Bronson, an undrafted free agent who played at the University of Washington and Eastern Washington, ran for 76 yards on 18 carries during the preseason.
