MIKE ROY, Kentwood

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Football.

Accomplishment: Roy tied a school record with three interceptions, leading Kentwood past Kent-Meridian 51-14 in a South Puget Sound League North Division football game.

Favorite class: Physical Education.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: My mother. I would have her make her always delicious chicken.

KELSEY KIRKLAND, Kentridge

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Volleyball.

Accomplishment: Kelsey served up a volleyball double-double, racking up 10 kills and adding 17 digs in a four-game (25-7, 25-10, 21-25, 25-14) South Puget Sound League North Division win over Federal Way.

Favorite class: Photography.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Definitely (actor) Taylor Lautner — sushi. Favorite movie: The Breakfast Club.

JOANNA WU, Kent-Meridian

Grade: Sophomore.

Sport: Swimming.

Accomplishment: Wu added two more state-qualifying times to her resume, doing so in the 50 free (25.16) and the 500 free (5:52.12) in a meet against Kentlake. Wu now has qualified for state in four different events.

Favorite class: English.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Alison Balvca and Shantel Gunter because, other than my parents, they have supported me every step of the way. And if I fall, I know they will catch me. I would take them to Paris for dinner.

Favorite movie: Lord of the Rings 1, 2 and 3.

CHELSEA BAILEY, Kentlake

Grade: Junior

Sport: Swimming.

Accomplishment: Bailey, one of the state’s top all-around swimmers, qualified for state last week in the 200 free (1:59.38), the 500 free (5:14.72) and 100 free (:55.22) in a meet against Kent-Meridian.

Favorite class: Ceramics.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Julie Bolstad and Matt Butler. We would have spaghetti and bread sticks.

Favorite movie: Mulan.

LAURA RAYFIELD, Kentlake

Grade: Sophomore.

Sport: Soccer.

Accomplishment: Rayfield found the back of the net twice last week against Kentridge, leading the Falcons past the Chargers 3-2 in a South Puget Sound League North Division game. Favorite class: Photography.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: (Soccer player) Cristiano Ronaldo. I would serve chocolate-covered strawberries.
